Methodology
The Global SportsTech Ecosystem Report (GSTER) is compiled annually by the SportsTechX research team.
Data is sourced from the STX Intelligence Hub, which tracks funding rounds, M&A transactions,
ecosystem entities, and startup activity across 108 countries. All figures are verified against
public filings, press releases, and direct company submissions. The 2026 edition covers
activity from January 2021 through February 2026, with a focus on calendar year 2025.
